Medical Coverage While Traveling Outside the US.
Whether you are under or over 65, your insurance while traveling or temporarily liviing outside the US is limited. Basically, it will cover some emergency care, but you are going to have to work to get that done. If you are traveling outside the US, and this even includes Canada, you need a travel policy. Thankfully they a) don't cost much, and b) cover a lot more than just emergency medical care, including for example, emergency evacuation.
